Before the weekend.
What we know so far, and what is still being confirmed.
01Who can take part?
UCSB students from every major are welcome. You do not need startup experience, a business degree, or a technical background.
02Do I need an idea or a team?
No. You can express interest on your own. Let us know whether you are looking for teammates or plan to join with a team. If you are joining with a team, list every teammate’s name and email in your application. Team formation details will be shared before the event.
03When and where is it?
The competition will take place at UC Santa Barbara. The exact date, room, and venue access details are still being confirmed.
04Do I need to know how to code?
No. Teams need people who can research, design, build, and explain an idea. A usable prototype can take different forms; it does not have to be a fully coded app.
05Does applying guarantee a place?
Submitting an application does not guarantee a place. The organizers will share participation details using the email you provide.
06Is there a fee? What about food and prizes?
The fee, food arrangements, prizes, judges, and capacity have not been confirmed. We will publish those details when they are available.
07Is this an overnight event?
The competition is planned as a 24-hour format. Overnight venue access has not been confirmed. Do not plan an overnight stay until the organizers share the final arrangements.
